THE MICRO WAVE OVEN CONSISTS OF A MAGNETRON WHICH CONVERTS ELECTRICAL
ENERGY IN TO MICRO WAVES. THESE MICRO WAVES PROVIDE THE HEATING
NECESSARY TO COOK THE FOOD INSIDE THE OVEN. WHILE THE FOOD IS
COOKED, THE VESSELS CARRYING THE FOOD DO NOT GET OVER HEATED.

WE COOK THE FOOD BY BOILING, ROASTING, BAKING AND FRYING. THE
MICRO WAVE OVEN CAN BOIL, ROAST OR BAKE, BUT IT CAN NOT FRY THE
FOOD.

MANY KINDS OF MICRO WAVE OVENS ARE AVAILABLE? |
GENERALLY THE MICRO WAVE OVENS ARE AVAILABLE IN THREE CATEGORIES.
SOLO, GRILL & CONVECTION.
THE SOLO MODELS HAVE ONLY A MAGNETRON INSIDE TO PRODUCE MICRO
WAVES. IT CAN DO THE HEATING AND BOILING, BUT IT CAN NOT PERFORM
THE ROASTING AND BAKING OPERATIONS. 80% OF THE DAY TO DAY COOKING
OPERATIONS ARE RELATED TO BOILING AND HEATING. THESE CAN BE DONE
BY THE SOLO MODELS. THE SOLO MODELS ARE BASIC MODELS IN MICRO
WAVE OVENS.
IN THE GRILL MODELS, THE MICRO WAVE OVENS ARE PROVIDED WITH HEATING
COILS. WHEN YOU USE THE GRILL FUNCTION, GENERALLY THE MICRO WAVE
FUNCTION IS IN OFF FUNCTION. IN THE GRILL FUNCTION, THE HEATED
COILS INDUCE A GRILLING OR ROASTING PROCESS. FOR EXAMPLE, TOAST
MAKING. THE GRILLING PROCESS CREATES BROWNING ON THE SURFACE OF
THE FOOD ARTICLE. IT IS POSSIBLE TO SIMULTANEOUSLY PROVIDE THE
GRILLING AS WELL AS MICRO WAVE FUNCTION. FOR EXAMPLE YOU CAN USE
BOTH THESE FUNCTIONS SIMULTANEOUSLY WHILE COOKING CHICKEN LEGS,
FISH OR PANEER DISHES.
IN THE CASE OF CONVECTION MODELS, THE MICRO WAVE OVEN HAS THE
MICRO WAVE FUNCTION, THE COILS FOR GRILLING AND HEATERS WITH A
BLOWER TO BAKE THE FOOD. THESE HEATERS ARE CONNECTED TO A THERMOSTAT
TO CONTROL THE CAVITY TEMPERATURE. THE RANGE OF THE THERMOSTAT
IS 40° C TO 250° C. THIS IS A VERY VERSATILE FUNCTION.
GO AHEAD AND MAKE YOUR CAKE, BISCUITS, NAAN-KATAI OR EVEN YOUR
TANDOORI DISHES. YOU HAVE THE ADVANTAGE OF USING ALL THESE FUNCTIONS
INDEPENDENTLY OR IN COMBINATION TO SUIT YOUR COOKING NEEDS.

CAN I USE THE STANDARD STAIN-LESS STEEL OR OTHER METAL UTENSILS
IN THE MICRO WAVE OVEN? |
IF YOU ARE USING THE MICRO WAVE FUNCTION, THEN YOU CAN NOT USE
ANY METAL OR METAL PLATED UTENSILS. THEY WILL GENERATE SPARKS
AND CREATE AN OXIDATION PROCESS DAMAGING YOUR OVEN. HOWEVER IF
YOU ARE USING ONLY THE GRILL FUNCTION OR A CONVECTION FUNCTION
WITHOUT THE COMBINATION OF MICRO WAVE FUNCTION, THEN YOU CAN USE
THE METAL UTENSILS.

5. WHAT
KIND OF VESSELS CAN I USE IN A MICRO WAVE OVEN? |
THE STANDARD PERMITTED VESSELS IN THE MICRO WAVE MODE ARE NON
PLATED CERAMIC VESSELS OR MICRO WAVE PROOF GLASS VESSELS. FOR
THE GENERAL REHEATING PURPOSE (LESS THAN 1 MINUTE) YOU MAY USE
THE PLASTIC OR ORDINARY GLASS VESSELS. |
6. WHAT
ADVANTAGES DO I HAVE IN USING THE MICRO WAVE OVEN? |
COOKING IS DONE IN A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT. IT ENSURES YOUR SAFETY
