1. WHAT IS THE COOLING TIME? |
THERE
ARE VARIOUS FACTORS WHICH AFFECT COOLING TIME. GENERALLY COOLING
TIME WILL DEPEND ON YOUR ROOM SIZE (AREA OF COOLING), HEAT LOAD
(NO OF PERSONS AND HEAT GENERATING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES) AND
AMBIENT (EXTERNAL) TEMPERATURE.
FOR EXAMPLE, TAKE A ROOM SIZE OF 100 SOFT, 3 PERSONS, 2 TUBE LIGHTS,
1 CTV/COMPUTER AND AMBIENT TEMPERATURE OF 32 DEGREE CENTIGRADE.
TO REACH A COMFORT LEVEL TEMPERATURE OF 23 DEGREE CENTIGRADE,
A I TON AC WILL TAKE APX 25 TO 30 MINUTES. HOWEVER AT NIGHT, TEMPERATURE
IS BELOW 30 DEGREES. GENERALLY THE COOLING WILL HAPPEN IN 20 TO
25 MINUTES. |
2. WHAT IS THE HIGHEST COOLING POSSIBLE? |
COOLING EFFICIENCY HAS A DIRECT RELATIONSHIP TO THE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE.
GENERALLY THE AC CAN BRING THE TEMPERATURE DOWN BY 15 TO 16 DEGREES.
FOR EXAMPLE IF OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE IS 32 DEGREES, THEN THE LOWEST
TEMPERATURE ON HIGHEST COOLING CAN BE 16 DEGREES.

3. WHAT IS THE POWER CONSUMPTION? |
THIS WILL DEPEND UPON THE TONNAGE, YOUR AC SETTING, HEAT LOAD
AND AMBIENT TEMPERATURE.
LET US ASSUME THAT WE WANT COOLING AT 24 DEGREES AND THE AMBIENT
TEMPERATURE OF 30 DEGREES CENTIGRADE. THE POWER CONSUMPTION GENERALLY
CAN BE AS UNDER.

TEMPERATURE IS BELOW 30 DEGREES. MOREOVER THE NEW ACS HAVE SLEEP
MODE WHICH CAN HELP YOU TO SAVE ON POWER CONSUMPTION.
IF YOUR POWER CONSUMPTION IS SUBSTANTIALLY HIGHER, THEN YOU SHOULD
CONSULT YOUR SERVICE ENGINEER.

4. WHAT ABOUT INSTALLATION? |
INSTALLATION OF SPLIT AC IS A SPECIALIZED JOB. YOU MUST ENSURE
THAT IT IS DONE BY A COMPETENT PERSON. WE RECOMMEND YOU TO GIVE
THIS JOB TO THE COMPANY’S AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE.
WINDOW AC CAN BE INSTALLED BY ANY KNOWLEDGEABLE ELECTRICIAN OR
CARPENTER.
PLEASE NOTE THAT INSTALLATION COST IS AN ADDITIONAL COST. IF AT
THE SITE OF INSTALLATION, THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION, GRILL AND
WINDOW SIZE ETC ARE NOT AVAILABLE, THEN IT WILL HAVE TO BE DONE
AT ADDITIONAL COST.

5. WHERE DO I INSTALL MY AC IN MY ROOM? |
PLEASE DO NOT INSTALL YOUR AC IN ANY CORNER OF THE ROOM. IT WILL
NOT GIVE YOU UNIFORM COOLING.
IDEALLY YOU SHOULD INSTALL IT AT THE CENTER OF THE WALL WHICH
GIVES THE LONGEST AIR THROW DISTANCE.
IF THE CENTER IS NOT AVAILABLE, THEN YOU SHOULD INSTALL CLOSEST
TO THE CENTER.
ALL WALL MOUNTED SPLIT UNITS WILL HAVE TO BE MOUNTED CLOSER TO
THE CEILING WITH THE LONGEST AIR THROW DISTANCE AVAILABILITY.
THE OUTER UNIT OF THE SPLIT OR THE OUTSIDE PART OF YOUR WINDOW
AC MUST HAVE EXPOSURE TO FREE / OPEN AREA FOR BETTER CONDENSATION.
IN CASE OF SPLIT UNITS, THE OUTER UNIT IDEALLY SHOULD NOT BE BEYOND
15 METERS FROM THE INNER UNIT.

6. WHAT ABOUT THE AFTER SALES SERVICE? |
AC GENERALLY REQUIRES REGULAR PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE. A WELL MAINTAINED
MACHINE WILL GIVE YOU YEARS OF SATISFACTORY SERVICE.
NORMALLY DURING WARRANTY PERIOD, YOU WILL GET 4 SUCH SERVICES
AT AN INTERVAL OF EVERY QUARTER. OUT OF THESE 3 CALLS ARE GIVEN
FOR DRY SERVICE AND 1 CALL IS GIVEN FOR WET SERVICE.
DURING DRY SERVICE, THE SERVICE ENGINEER WILL CLEAN THE AIR FILTER,
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS AND COILS. DURING WET SERVICE, THE SERVICE
ENGINEER WILL THOROUGHLY WASH THE MACHINE EXCEPT THE ELECTRICAL
POINTS.
WE RECOMMEND YOU TO TAKE OUT THE AIR FILTER OF YOUR WINDOW AC
YOURSELF AND CLEAN IT FOR BETTER AIR CIRCULATION.

7. WILL MY ROOM RETAIN FRESHNESS? |
THE NEW AIR FILTERS CURRENTLY BEING USED HAVE BUILT IN IONIZERS.
THESE IONIZERS ELECTRICALLY CHARGE TO DEODORISE WHEN THE AIR PASSES
THROUGH THEM. IN ADDITION THE ACS ARE PROVIDED WITH CASCADE FILTERS
AND PLTC FILTERS (PHOTO LOW REGENERATIVE TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENT).
THESE FILTERS REDUCE THE PARTICULATE CONTENT IN THE AIR.
